Richard, amongst other projects, has completed interim management engagements as the Business Manager for a renowned performing arts organization (12 months), as the Executive Director of Canada's largest private hospital (7 months), as the COO for a recognized private school (3 1/2 years), as the CEO of a high-tech company (9 months), and as the CFO of a small publically listed corporation (9 months).
iSTAR is the corporate entity through which Richard offers his professional services and through which he manages his various business interests and investments.
Richard served as the interim CEO for Salumatics. The company provides electronic document management services, secure data storage and software to hospitals to enable them to convert their paper patient medical charts into fully digitized electronic medical records.
Richard served as the interim CFO for Landmark, a TSX listed company which invests in and provides management support to start-up and high tech companies. Landmark's principal subsidiary is Salumatics for which Richard served as interim CEO
