About

I design, scale and govern enterprise AI capability at multinational level. As Global Vice President of AI at Pearson plc (FTSE-listed), I advised the CEO and Executive Committee on generative AI disruption, enterprise operating model design and responsible AI governance across international markets. My focus was translating AI investment into measurable commercial value while protecting regulatory and reputational risk. Previously, I co-founded Faethm AI, a workforce intelligence SaaS platform leveraging proprietary machine learning to model the impact of automation on global labour markets. We scaled to A$11M ARR and were acquired by Pearson within four years. I work at the intersection of AI strategy, capital allocation and enterprise risk, helping organisations move beyond experimentation toward structured, scalable AI adoption. PhD in Bioinformatics. MBA (AGSM / Tuck School of Business). Former Senior Deputy Council Member, World Economic Forum Global Future Council on AI. Based in Sydney, working globally.

Experience

  • Cofounder & CTO | Synata AI: Redefining Performance, Wellbeing & Development with AI at thriViae
    May 2025 - Present · 1 yr 3 mos

Synata AI was founded in response to a recurring pattern observed in large organisations: productivity often declines during periods of AI-driven change, despite significant technology investment. As companies deploy generative AI and restructure operating models, traditional performance metrics and engagement surveys fail to capture real-time shifts in capability, overload and execution risk. Synata applies machine learning to quantify these dynamics: providing leaders with forward-looking insight into workforce productivity and transformation exposure.

Faethm by Pearson navigates the intersection of human capital and emerging technology. By applying AI to organisation data, the platform creates a predictive bridge between current workforce capabilities and future industry demands. It moves beyond high-level trends to offer a granular look at how automation and AI will reshape specific tasks and roles. This allows leaders to transition from reactive hiring to proactive talent development, using the world’s most advanced skills ontology to identify exactly where up-skilling and re-skilling will yield the most significant long-term impact.
