Richard is passionate about simplifying the Visa application process and guiding his clients through the maze that is Australian Immigration Law. Prior to advising clients in aspects of Immigration Law, Richard had significant experience dealing with government departments and managing complex client relationships. He worked for almost 10 years across a broad range of management and training roles within the international, not-for-profit and corporate sectors of the Education Industry in Australia.
As Principal Consultant Richard provides qualified advice on the most appropriate visa option for his clients and then manages the entire application process on their behalf. Richard also ensures his clients stay on top of all the frequent changes in visa legislation to make sure they avoid breaching their ongoing obligations.
DeakinPrime is the corporate training division of Deakin University. Richard's role included management of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) systems and operations, ensuring compliance with state and national Vocational Education and Training (VET) regulations. Other responsibilities included management of State and Federal Government funding contracts and the provision of expertise and advice on matters relating to the development and delivery of VET programs.
