Richard is a Sales and Technology leader with over 20 years experience of leading sales teams to success across a variety of technologies and industries. He leads a team of sales executives and managers selling across the Salesforce portfolio to specialised Business Service customers, growing Salesforce’s business in the sector through building a robust pipeline, solid execution, and strong collaboration. In previous roles at Salesforce, Richard has been the UK sales leader for the Salesforce Platform business, growing the business 30% yoy with a team of 20; and had responsibility for Strategic customers in Professional Services. Richard has spearheaded numerous innovative initiatives, including the first Digital Skills Gap forum in the UK, and developing a bespoke education platform with Cambridge Judge Business School. Earlier in his career, Richard was a highly successful Sales Executive, developing from product sales specialist at IBM and Google to Global Account Manager at Salesforce. Richard has sold to the Business Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Financial Services industries. In his spare time Richard enjoys spending time with his family and friends, coaching rugby, playing golf and travelling. He has recently qualified as a rugby referee.
