I’m the Founder, CEO and Chief Test Pilot of Gravity Industries, an $80m+ aeronautical innovation company behind the world’s first human Jet Suit. Since launching Gravity in 2017, I’ve had the privilege of turning a millennia-old dream into reality, challenging the perceived limits of human flight and inspiring millions to ask “what if?”. What began as an idea dismissed as impossible has grown into a ground-breaking business that’s redefining what it means to fly. Today, Gravity has transformed mobility for Special Forces, ship boarding and remote medical response, and our flights have now been experienced by over two billion people globally. We have completed over 300 live flight events worldwide, including the launch of our International Race Series and the development of Flight Training facilities in both the UK and US. Before Gravity, I spent 16 years as a commodity trader with BP in the City of London, where I pioneered several entrepreneurial ventures including a world-first $500m cargo tracking platform that won the BP Group Innovation Award. A passionate advocate for STEM and entrepreneurship in education, I believe ambition and innovation should be taught from an early age and continue to invest in and advise successful start-up ventures. I have spoken on global stages, including TED, CISCO, Microsoft, Google and BP, and work closely with C-suite groups and government leadership, including the Ministry of Defence, offering practical insight into overcoming organisational inertia and delivering bold, tangible innovation. Outside of Gravity, I’m a former Royal Marine Reservist, ultra-marathon runner and author of Taking On Gravity, the story of our remarkable rise and the lessons learned in rewriting what’s possible. ___ For media or speaker enquiries please contact: [email protected]
