• Established the first internal communications function at Cloudflare, a leading Internet infrastructure and security company with 4,000+ empoyees. • Led communications strategy for the Co-Founder and COO, enhancing media engagement and thought leadership and resulting in coverage in Forbes, CNBC, and Inc. • Collaborated with C-level executives and cross-functional teams to navigate major company changes and crisis communications. • Improved employee engagement through innovative video content and enhanced production quality of company-wide communications.
I led proactive media relations, thought leadership, and storytelling for Salesforce, partnering with the media, our leadership, customers, analysts, and our subject matter experts to tell the most impactful stories that shape the news agenda while connecting the Salesforce brand with our audiences worldwide.
I led the communications program for Salesforce Co-CEO Bret Taylor (now co-founder of Sierra) including internal and external comms, messaging development, media strategy and relations, and social media presence. I was responsible for collaborating with teams across Salesforce’s 77,000+ employees and external partners to ensure the Co-CEO and his office are informed, prepared, and supported for our most high-profile communications moments from earnings and All Hands to major international events and speaking opportunities including the World Economic Forum. I vetted, curating, and staffing high-profile media opportunities including CNBC, Bloomberg, WSJ, and Yahoo! Finance as well as major international press engagements. I developed the strategy to increase Bret's LinkedIn engagement and grow follower numbers from 9k-32k within 3 months.
