I am a chartered civil engineer who has 25 years' experience, of which 18 years are in the rail industry covering inter-disciplinary engineering and design management, in particular the design of stations, depots and various ancillary civil infrastructure. I particularly enjoy complex engineering projects, leading design teams to discover innovative solutions for the client. I am conversant with railway engineering principles and risks in both my core civil/structural background, and also across various rail systems disciplines due to the breadth of my experience. I operate well in a collaborative environment where development is encouraged on a daily basis and promote this in any teams that I lead.
