Responsible for overseeing all operations, driving strategic growth, ensuring profitability, and maintaining operational excellence for the company, a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialized steel products, wire, strand, and chains for the mining, engineering and general industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & P&L Management: Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals, and managing the company's financial performance including budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization. Operational Oversight: Overseeing the day-to-day operations across various departments (e.g., operations, production, sales, supply chain, finance) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to company standards and health and safety regulations. Business Development: Identifying opportunities for expansion and growth, building strong commercial relationships with key clients and suppliers (such as those in the mining industry), and expanding market presence. Team Leadership & Culture: Leading, mentoring, and recruiting high-performing, cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of performance, accountability, innovation, and collaboration. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all products and operations comply with international standards and local regulations (e.g., Mines Safety regulations), maintaining the company's reputation for quality and reliability. The Role: To create and maintain a vital link between the customer and Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions at Strategic decision-making level. Responsible to build and maintain good customer relationships. Responsible for the profit and loss. Responsibilities: (Lead workshop business growth) Develop the workshop team in the areas of control to meet and exceed customer satisfaction Implement quality control process and standards Develop and/or implement a workshop strategy Develop and manage budgets, striving for a cost-effective operations without compromising safety or quality Identifying, analyzing, and driving resolution of customer issues (warranty and non-warranty) with account management Manage rebuilds and repairs operations to meet the contract target costs Executing workshop activity to cost, utilization, quality and cycle time targets Collaborate internally with key stakeholders Manage a team of workshop managers Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and expectations Provide timely updates on rebuild/repairs progress and communicate any deviations from scope
