Reporting to the Head of Trade & Working Capital Product Risk; key areas of activity include: managing team of 23 Credit Managers with responsibility for sanctioning new and existing customers with ceilings up to £150m. Personal sanctioning authority of £10m for Credit Risk and £30m for Product Risk. Ensuring that governance and reporting requirements for Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to. Attending Sales and Customer Service’s meetings to build relationships with these key stakeholders. Member of quorum for sanctions requiring a Credit Committee decision. Maintenance and revision of Credit Policy as required. Liaising with Barclays Business Support when high risk customers are identified. Carrying out regular Performance Reviews with team.
