I was brought in because of my previous experience at E.on and my more recent experience of Opentext Exstream 16.4.2. It took a long time to get the required access and then the COVID-19 came along. Infosys had more work that they wanted me to do, but everything went on hold.
I was brought in to help with the migration from Docuflex to OpenText Exstream. This has involved using the Agile approach. Helping with recruitment, upgrading from OpenText Exstream 9.5.303 to 16.4.2. I did the research and recommended which version YBS should upgrade to. I did the proof of concept for the upgrade and produced instructions detailing the steps required to carry out the upgrade. This involved a certain amount of contact with Opentext regarding things like licensing, downloading the software etc... I produced documents on designs, standards and good practice. I've pushed for the appropriate hardware to enable the team to be more dynamic. I've provided a lot of good ideas based on my experience at other organisation which is valued by my hiring manager.
I was brought in as part of Vitality’s plan to on-shore the HPX team. The idea was to have a small team of HP Exstream experts on-shore, sat next to the Marketing team. There is a lot of scope for improvements to the processes and the quality of the output. So far I have worked on small changes, due to everything taking so long. At the end of February I'd had enough of the frustration and I couldn't see things improving, so for the first time in my life I resigned.
