Hi all, Just giving an update on where I'm at with my work/job situation. I'm still working as a part time tutor helping those who need a better understanding of the sciences, namely mathematics, chemistry and biology. I'm also still working as a part-time chemist with Balhan Industrial Company. I'm currently looking for further work, hoping it's full time of course. I'm not really wanting to work in Melbourne as I feel that's a bit too far. My best locality would be in or around Geelong, as that's where I live. I'm willing to go as far as Werribee or Hoppers Crossing. I was working as a Technical Administrative Officer at Cleanaway Waste Management P/L for about 13 months previously but was made redundant at the end of March 2025. It was a bit of a shock, but I took it in stride and accepted what was to be done. So, I've been looking for further full time work the last few months but haven't really had much luck. I have an excellent background and skills in the chemical and medical sciences. My dream job would have to be a position at Viva Energy Geelong Refinery or as a Technical Officer in the School of Medicine at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds. I have very good transferable skills that will make me ready to fit in to any position I might be offered.
