Responsible for the recruitment, training, safety and welfare of over 1200 Customer Delivery Drivers across 28 stores in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. Scope of role • Support store teams to recruit, train and manage their delivery drivers • Manage operational road risk for all stores • Manage and control van damage budgets • Responsible for the legal compliance of 300 3.5 tonne delivery vans • Co-ordinate and complete various in-cab, classroom and on-the-job learning programmes • Trained and coached 100 managers and team leaders to fulfil their job role • Trained over 300 managers in their Corporate Manslaughter and Gross Negligence Manslaughter responsibilities • Arranged and delivered customer service training for 1200 drivers
