I’m the Founding Dean of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, a joint venture between Zayed University and Minerva Project. Our mission is to prepare students for professional leadership in the rapidly changing global environment. We dissolve the silos between disciplines and impart tools to help students develop critical and creative thinking techniques to shed light on the problems facing the world today and tomorrow.
As a professor of physics at CMU, I teach physics courses at all levels, ranging from non-majors to graduate level courses. I also do research in particle astrophysics, and am in charge of graduate students and postdocs in our group.
I was a reseach associate at Fermilab and my duties involved doing research in particle astrophysics, organizing seminars and workshops.
