Management of operations, contracts, finance, intellectual property (over 35 patents), oversight of major systems engineering, R&D, focused on the integration into a $586 million hybrid scramjet rocket propulsion program for major aerospace and defense system OEM companies. Demonstrating prototypes in 2017, planned expenditure to $760 million over eight years, revenue on contract option agreements to $2.4 billion in 2017, with Government, debt, equity current capital raise of $584 million, and projected revenue to $3.4 billion in 2020. Oversee eight aerospace propulsion partnerships as a “clean tech” consortium for shared development of the companies disruptive “green” single stage to orbit hypersonic propulsion technology programs with private industry and future NASA, US Air Force, Navy, DOD contracts. The Compnay recently formed its first spin-out Division in unmanned rotorcraft with innovation in a demonstrator with a five-blade swashplateless electromagnetic rotorhead technology for high performance improvement in speed, range, safety and payload. A two seat derivative manned rated rotorcraft is planned for 2015. The Company has over 35 employees and contract consultants in three geographic locations worldwide.
As Senior Vice President/Senior Partner - Leadership, general management, business operations with full P&L responsibility of R&D, prototype manufacturing, engineering, and management consulting of ADL’s largest global Innovation and Technology Division, revenue of $385M, 410 employees.
Overall management for operations, strategy execution, global business development to commercialize technology and build brand equity for three spin-out Compnaies, an advanced composite aerospace materials company, a fuel cell reforming/fuel cell stack manufacturing company, and a micro-enviromental controls company. Co-Founded these three startups from the Parent, Aspen, capitalized funding for growth from heavily valued IP of these technology products to a $32.8M investment, with a $115M valuation, second round funding to $28 million, with $4M investment from a strategic Defense Industry equity partnership with a Fortune 100 major aerospace and defense company. Initiated growth into new defense markets including strategic partnerships and management buildout. Spearheaded aggressive growth with technology commercialization, product manufacturing and contract sales. Key results: • Created and implemented market plans and growth strategy for parent company • Secured 76 new customers valued at $96 million in commercial and defense contracts in eighteen months.
