As a surveyor on board an offshore construction vessel my responsibilities included: • The setup, interface, testing, calibration and operation of all survey sensors. • Liaising with other vessels in the vicinity to ensure no interference over acoustic frequencies. • Coordinating subsea operations with one or more ROV. • Monitoring data quality and ensure it was up to contractual specifications. • Maintaining up to date logs on operations. • Gathering and presenting survey data in digital and printed formats. • To prepare various reports including mobilisation, calibration and post project analysis.
