Tampa, Florida, United States
As President of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay for over 41 years, I have dedicated my career to empowering youth through education, entrepreneurship, and social impact initiatives. Leveraging my expertise in stewardship, marketing, strategic planning, and nonprofit leadership, I have focused on creating innovative learning experiences that prepare young people to succeed in the future economy. At Junior Achievement, I have contributed to fostering regional partnerships and cross-sector collaboration by engaging with corporate leaders, educators, and government officials. My work reflects a commitment to aligning organizational goals with the visions of key stakeholders to drive sustainable growth and deliver meaningful impact to the Tampa Bay community. On behalf of the most outstanding team of staff and volunteer board members, it was my honor to be the recipient of the 2002 and 2022 Charles R. Hook Award. The Hook Award is the highest honor in Junior Achievement USA, presented annually to a JA Area President who demonstrates outstanding leadership, performance, and significant contributions to the growth of the organization.
