Key target was to reduce the cost of the operation whilst maintaining / improving service levels. 2006 - 2007: Head of IT Client Management Responsible for a dedicated client management function within IT charged with delivering a clear alignment between the business strategy and the IT roadmap. 2004 - 2006: Lead Applications Manager (UK Logistics) Responsible for the IT function servicing the Parcelnet (now Hermes) Logistics business along with the UK Warehouse operations. The key project in this area was implementing a new bespoke logistics solution. This included hand held scanning of parcels, track and trace functionality, client invoicing/payment and administration of the courier network. 2003 - 2004: Lead Applications Manager (Merchandising) Accountable for all Merchandising systems. Key project was around the integration of 2 legacy Merchandising systems.
