DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee the performance of the business in line with set targets on productivity, quality, H&S, financial, Customer satisfaction and indirectly manage the workforce of over 1000 people onsite through indirect and direct management. • Continually assess areas for improvement with my teams, seeking out biggest win opportunities and deliver the improvements in line with agreed targets. • Build positive relationships with other managers, utilising these positive relationships to assist delivery of results through your team, and provide support to the success of all teams • Manage managers and Team Leaders to understand their role and coach them to be effective through team management, communication, setting and managing by standards, organising their team, high quality documentation, demonstrating keen attention to detail and full understanding of their roles • Clearly communicate targets to all departments that need to be achieved and the process to be followed to ensure these targets remain in line with the company policies and procedures • Ensuring the Health & Safety of all staff in each department at all times through strict compliance to the company standards and procedures. Provide support and assistance to management and staff in fulfilling their Health & Safety responsibilities • Manage the factory audit preparedness through monitoring and auditing departmental GMP – providing clear feedback for improvements and taking on board suggestions from your team to achieve improved GMP standards • Be the point of escalation for all site issues across production, security, despatch and compliance, H&S ensuring timely and effective resolution

Katoen Natie consists of 400 operational units, with 150 terminals and logistics platforms across the globe, employing over 10,000 people and active in all parts of the world. Roles and Responsibilities • Overall responsibility of the performance of the site which includes Production, warehouse, loading, logistics admin, quality, facility management, maintenance, H&S and HR issues. • Responsible for all Quality & H&S onsite – ISO 9001 Registered- Perform safety tours, audits • Manage team across 4 departments including 3 department managers • Strategic planning of business performance • Cost control – manage all budgets for the plant. • P&L responsibility for the plant. Budget planning/ forecasts. • Daily contact with the client – building relationships and exceeding expectations • Manage quality expectations whilst ensuring targets are achieved • Improve GMP process and mind set of employees.

Monitoring performance to a weekly schedule, K.P.I's & planning labour. Ensure inventories are accurate and stock control systems are maintained. 6 Cell Supervisors with up to 200 Operatives working within different departments on site. Ensure the required levels of performance, work standards, outputs, service and quality are achieved and that a safe working environment is maintained. Factory Trainers – their role requirements & priorities for operative training, skill matrices & succession planning to address future demands. Cell Supervisors appraisals, personnel development plans, succession planning plus the general enhancement of the factory management capabilities & the continuous improvement in the factory performance. Continually maintaining company policy and practice of health & Safety, Housekeeping and Discipline. Setting my teams K.P.I's. Interfacing with customers (on and off site).
