• Working with others in the AI group and the company on production systems and applications • Write, test and maintain production-quality code, and • Design, experiment, and evaluate algorithms, and models
My role would include the following: • AI and data-led innovation to improve product performance metrics • Design, Roadmap and Data considerations • Hands-on modelling as well as programming for production • Proposed methods to solve problems, experiment with different alternatives to address it and implement a solution that could be deployed in production. • Represented company in academic or industrial conferences and other events, to promote our research and data science brand • Was involved and advised other teams about how data science can be used to address different challenges.
• I participated in cutting edge research in one of Machine Learning, Language Technologies, Information Retrieval, Human-Computer Interaction, Algorithmic Bias. • Applied my scientific knowledge to analyze and collect data, perform analyses, identify problems, devise solutions and construct methodologies, including metrics and best practices, and conduct experiments to validate these. • Worked on practical applications such as recommendation, search, voice and language understanding, and areas related to music and podcast streaming. • Worked in collaboration with other scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, user researchers, and analysts across our company to design creative solutions to challenging problems. • Worked on projects that cut across our organization, including areas such as product, marketing, and content. • Had product impact, while working on and further developing a long-term research roadmap. • External engagement such as publishing, giving talks, and being an active community member at top conferences is encouraged.
