Richard T. Bauer III, DPM FACFAS, is a highly skilled podiatric medical professional with extensive experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Siena College and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his post-doctoral training at St. Barnabas Hospital, where he later served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bauer founded Summit Foot and Ankle and has held positions at various institutions including the Samaritan Wound and Incontinence Center, Podiatry Associates of Greenwich, and Site Director for the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center residency training program. He holds active licenses in New York State, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Throughout his career, Dr. Bauer has been involved in numerous committees, consulting roles, hospital affiliations, and has presented research at various conferences and seminars.
