Working as a Senior Manager within Hennessey, supporting the business across operational delivery, strategic planning, and governance. Much of my career has been spent leading QHSSE functions across major construction, infrastructure, marine, and operational environments across the GCC and internationally. That experience now supports a wider role within Hennessey where I contribute across all operational activities of the business. My approach is practical and delivery focused. I work closely with project directors, operational teams, and senior management to ensure that safety, quality, and operational performance are fully integrated into the way projects are planned, managed, and delivered. Having previously led regional and group HSSE functions, I have extensive experience aligning operations with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), while maintaining strong compliance with regional regulatory frameworks. I bring significant experience in incident investigation and crisis management, including operating as a Kelvin TOPSET Senior Incident Investigator, leading complex investigations, root cause analysis, and organisational learning programmes following major incidents. Alongside this, I have extensive expertise in emergency response planning and preparedness, with the capability to establish, manage, and maintain structured response systems that support effective incident management and business continuity across both operational and construction environments. My role within Hennessey now extends beyond traditional HSSE leadership. I support the wider business in ensuring operational risks are understood, systems are functioning effectively, and projects are delivered in a controlled and professional manner. I place strong emphasis on building capable teams, maintaining clear communication at all levels of the organisation, and bringing structure and consistency to complex operational environments. With a background that includes emergency services, major infrastructure developments, hyperscale data centre programmes, marine and nearshore operations, and large-scale construction projects, I bring calm, practical leadership focused on protecting people, supporting the business, and ensuring dependable operational performance.
Strategic Planning Environment, Health & Safety • Creating effective procedures for the preparation and implementation of programs within the area of industrial safety, health and the environment. • Authorizing and instituting HSE policy and procedures within the project work place. • Conducting internal audits to ensure all operations are executed within the set HSE objectives. • Assess and assure HSE Training initiatives in line with the current entity’s requirement and risk activity. • Establishing and monitoring KPI’s to drive OHS incentives that develop workplace HSE excellence. Safety Management • Implementing Health and Safety Plans, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of data, cost benefit analysis, implementation & post audits. • Ensuring compliance of safety rules and regulations by industries within the assigned jurisdiction. • Chairing IRP (Incident Review Panel) meetings. Adapting Root Cause Analysis – RCA Sessions on all incidents, Tap Root. • Liaising with clients, consultants and number of subcontractors to ensure seamless operations. Current Project Activity and Role: HSE Manager, Holfords PMO, EMAAR Boulevard, 5 Tower Projects, Downtown, Dubai, UAE. Holfords/Arcadis H&S Dept. commenced on the Emaar Downtown Boulevard Tower Projects in September 2016 with the contractual role as Project Management Organisation (PMO) to monitor & guide the Main Contractor & Lead Consultant for all aspects of the projects H&S.
The scope of the role includes overseeing a broad spectrum of activities pertaining to HSE across the project, ensuring the promotion of a positive health and safety culture in addition to undertaking HSE inspections and monitoring the project’s HSE performance. Key Project: ▪ Currently managing and coordinating all the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental aspects within the ASGC, The Dubai Mall Boulevard Expansion Project in Downtown, Dubai.
