As Swiftly’s IT Support Manager, I’m responsible for managing the ticket queue, providing excellent end-user support, and contributing to both ad hoc and ongoing projects. We’re a small IT team supporting a rapidly growing company, and we’re taking on many services and management functions under IT oversight. Our infrastructure environment is entirely cloud-based. My responsibilities include: - Collaborating with the Head of IT to enhance support desk management. - Contributing to and improving IT and end-user documentation. - Providing frontline and level 2/3+ technical support for hardware, software, SSO, and permissions. - Managing the IT help desk ticket queue to reduce resolution times and improve our ticket handling processes. - Managing internal and external resources to streamline the build and inventory processes. - Overseeing system access audits. - Basic to intermediate SharePoint administration. - Coordinating with third-party vendors. - Performing other related duties, such as Retailer Support Desk. As the System Administrator (SA) I am directly responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Duties include participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the school infrastructure and remote locations through Northern California. Responsible for ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling administrative staff, teacher staff and volunteers. Primary organization contact (POC) for assisting managed services project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of infrastructure upgrades and or new technology implementation. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis design and local support. in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. As the Systems Administrator I am accountable for the following systems: Linux and Windows systems that support FHMS infrastructure; Network, Windows (Desktop\Server) and Application systems that support Asset Management; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
