Motorsport Engineer.
Taking technical ownership of a variety of projects on the car’s control systems, encompassing both metallic and composite design from concept, through testing to implementation on the race car. Generating 3D models, Assemblies and 2D drawings including defining and documenting manufacturing information. Support in the definition and management of performance & reliability lab testing programs for relevant designs & projects. Reliability management of assigned systems throughout component life cycle and in support of the team’s reliability function. Close collaboration with internal and external manufacturing departments to ensure fully integrated designs that achieve optimal car performance. Understanding and driving cost effective design solutions.
• Actively participating in the development of W13 (2022 season), W14 (2023 season) and W15 (2024 season). • Taking technical ownership for the design and delivery of projects for the Test and Development Lab from formative ideas to end of use. • Supporting the definition and management of performance and reliability lab testing programs for relevant designs and projects. • Close collaboration with internal and external manufacturing departments to ensure fully integrated designs achieving optimal car performance. • Supporting design activities across the wider group, which also includes engineering projects as part of Applied Science programmes.
• Member of the department in charge of gearbox, exhaust, test and pit equipment. • Actively participating in the development of AT02 (2021 season) and AT03 (2022 season). • Carrying out projects to adapt Red Bull supplied parts to the needs of the team. • Designing innovative pit stop equipment solutions from concept layout to detail drawings. • Liaising with Purchase, Quality and Assembly departments in solving technical problems encoun- tered during production/assembly of parts. • Shaping the necessary parts to carry out dynamic tests such as 7 post, MIRA, brake test, FAKT...
• Worked with all F1 feeder series (F2-F3-F4) in both in trackside and factory roles. • Participating as Race and Data Engineer in F3 and F4 during the 2020-2021 season. • Designed and built components to improve overall car data acquisition system performance.
