Build and maintain the platform services for GitHub's marketing web experiences
As a developer, I work in small teams, in various tech stacks to help meet client needs. When filling the role of tech-lead, I stay "ahead of a project" from a planning perspective by maintaining and communicating a shared technical vision across the development team. As a mentor, I help new team members and apprentices through one-on-one sessions, technical guidance and code review.
I provide front-end development for various projects. I often work with a team of front-end developers, back-end developers and team managers, while sometimes, managing projects completely. Skills used are PHP, JavaScript (Node, React.js), HTML, CSS and Responsive design.
I manage the University's website and affiliate pages including: emu.edu and subdomains, Wordpress pages, Peacebuilder magazine & Crossroads Magazine online. Additional parts of my job are analyzing web traffic data to judge the success or failure of our web strategies. Skills used are: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Responsive Design, Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress CMS, Radiant CMS, and Google Analytics.
Manage daily operations of all guest service processes at Point of Sale. Maximize work center efficiency with scheduling and delegating responsibilities to team members. Oversee all operation of Food Avenue including enforcing company food safety standards and regulations. Showed leadership skills by ensuring team members accomplished daily tasks including stocking and guest service. Controlled payroll by holding team accountable for individual responsibilities and offering counseling as needed.
