Scope & Responsibilities: • Turnaround and shutdown execution leadership • Mechanical integrity management of pressure vessels, piping and fixed equipment • Welding engineering authority and repair methodology development • Failure analysis and root cause investigation • WPS/PQR qualification, welder approvals and multi-code compliance (ASME / NBIC / EN / DIN) • Interface with Authorized Inspectors (AIA), engineering and operations leadership • Contractor coordination and workforce leadership (70–120 personnel during shutdowns) • ISO 3834 welding quality system implementation and BSI audit compliance • Risk mitigation and execution under live petrochemical operating conditions Deliver complex plant repairs where technical risk, schedule pressure and operational performance intersect.
Manage full workshop operations for ASME IX, AWS, and ISO 3834 compliant fabrication, covering pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel. Lead teams of welders, riggers, and planners, ensuring zero non-conformances in ISO 9001/3834 audits.
