I am a Procore-certified project coordinator with significant experience in the construction industry. Since gaining my foothold in residential construction in the UK, I have worked for large commercial and industrial construction companies in the United States and Canada.
I was based in the head office of the 35-year-old firm, which works across a variety of projects, including retail, office, and hospitality. My focus was on large residential and industrial projects. In my role I supported the completion of multiple high-value projects, with responsibility for managing them through our project management software, including Procore, TimberScan, and Sage 300 Construction.
I assisted on many small residential construction projects, both before moving to study in the US, and during college vacations when I returned to the UK. One project involved the full renovation of a 90-year-old house, and I later worked on the construction of three new-build family homes. I spent the summer of 2022 working full-time on the construction of a new family home. I gained experience of everything from groundworks to roofing, learning skills by working alongside experienced tradespeople, including drywall contractors, carpenters, and plumbers.
