As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of both Weiners Training Development Academy and Complete Nursing Agency, Rhona runs both companies with the same management staff to allow for synergy between the training and placement companies. She developed the vision for both companies through her own experience with her mother, which inspired in her the need to train caring and capable care-givers. Rhona has been in the field of nursing since 1977, when she began her career as a student nurse in Cape Town, working as a nurse at various hospitals. Later she was employed as an office manager in Johannesburg, before her passion for caring led her to create her two companies. In 2015 she was nominated for the Jewish Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership award in the Jewish Achiever Awards.
Having founded Complete Nursing Agency earlier in her career, Rhona Solomon saw the need to create a training academy to meet the needs of the practitioners, care-givers, medical institutions and the recipients of healthcare, requiring that highly trained and caring staff are produced to form the base upon which this industry is built.
