I am a recent graduate of the MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering program at Carnegie Mellon University, I have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a host of internship experience varying from project management to solid waste management. I am primarily interested in the water/wastewater treatment and environmental remediation domains.
I held a TA position in the course Remediation Engineering.
I prepared Detailed Project Reports (DPR’s) and bid documents for multimillion-dollar projects for the state government. I was also actively involved in project management on site.
I primarily investigated and analyzed solid waste management and disposal sites supervised by the local municipality.
As the office was to be relocated, I was in charge of preparing cost estimates for the relocation following detailed site analysis for the construction project.
I was introduced to environmental auditing and conducted site analysis for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
