I am passionate about technologies and I have more than 10 years of experience on either leading projects related to open source databases or supporting them at a high level. I have built my professional career during those years focusing on Open Source Databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB). However, it is important to highlight that everything started with Oracle databases which held my attention for, at least, 10 years. In the last 7 years, I have been mainly heading my career to MongoDB, MySQL, and MariaDB. Apart from administering databases, I have also advanced skills with shell scripting, Python, (intermediate) Perl, and advanced Linux administration. I have been improving my skills about Infrastructure as a Code by developing Terraform codes as well as Ansible Playbooks aiming Databases deployments into virtualized environments or containers (Docker or Kubernetes). When I am not dealing with technologies I am dedicating myself to my family and dogs, working out and cooking.
