Reto is the Owner, Founding Partner and CEO of VDB Group. VDB Group is a Swiss family office and investment company owned 100% by Reto and his family and focuses on a very entrepreneurial and long-term investment approach and aims to invest in and develop promising companies in the German-speaking small and mid-cap segment. He is a passionate Entrepreneur, private equity investor and CEO professional with in-depth experience in the consumer goods and direct sales industry. Before founding the VDB Group Reto led the strategic direction of Lux International as its Owner, President and Group CEO, a globally operating $200 Mn Swiss consumer goods company devoted to the promotion of healthy living, with a strong focus on areas such as clean drinking water and pollution free air. During his tenure as CEO of Lux he also served for many years as the only European member on the Board of Directors on one of India's leading consumer good groups, Eureka Forbes. Reto is also a Co-Owner and Executive Chairman of the Swiss consumer goods group Seven Sundays, a fast growing leading brand in high quality innovative sleep tech products, the owner and Chairman of PepperParties International, a fast growing company in the Fem Tech space and he is an active GP Investor and Chairman of the Advisory Committee of Constellation Capital, a leading Swiss private Equity fund focused on small-cap opportunities in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Having successfully sold the Lux Group to Eureka Forbes India after spearheading its sustained growth and international expansion to a market presence in over 50 countries in the last 10 years, Reto and VDB Group are actively looking for entrepreneurial investment opportunities. VDB Group offers a unique combination of available equity capital, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and significant personal in-depth strategic management expertise in helping small and mid-cap companies to further develop and grow successfully on a global scale. Reto is an active member and incoming Chapter Chair of YPO and a member of the YPO President’s Programs at Harvard Business School and Oxford Said Business School. He holds a Magna cum Laude CEMS Masters in Science in Management and a BSC in Economics, both from the London School of Economics.
