MSc Life Science & Technology at Delft University of Technology, following the Cell Factory specialization track. Recently finished my masters thesis at the department of Industrial Microbiology (IMB), researching high titer production of an industrially relevant enzyme. Fascinated by the world of microbiology, very enthousiastic to see more and more new projects, research, publications and even news articles or medicines being produced in the field of biotechnology! Still exploring where I'd like to use my powers as an upcoming Engineer in biotech.
Organizing activities, both leasure and professional - for large groups of students while working in varying, small teams of students. An important aspect was to care for student wellbeing in the wake of the Covid pandemic, trying my best to make people feel at home at the university and creating a welcoming environment for new students, motivating them to come to university rather than to follow their lectures online.
