After finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, which covered all essential and fundamental aspects of aviation, I continued with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. My specializations are now in the field of 'Propulsion and Energy systems' and 'Design, Dimensioning and Construction of aerospace vehicles', furthermore I'm generally interested in the topics 'Materials' and 'Sustainability'. I gained first practical experience in aviation during my 5 month internship at 'Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International-LTMI', a subsidiary of 'Lufthansa Technik' based at Frankfurt airport. During my bachelor's thesis at the 'IRS' (Institute of Space Systems), with the title "Experimental investigation of discharge characteristic on steady-state applied-field magnetoplasmadynamic thruster SX3", I then learned a lot about laboratory/ experimental work and also scientific research and writing. Afterwards, I deepened my knowledge in this field as a research assistant for Dr. Georg Herdrich and Adam Boxberger. I spent the fall term of 2017 at the University of Toronto as an exchange student. Among others, I took a course of Stephen Armstrong called 'Aerospace Operations and Management' where we were able to work with 'Bombardier Aerospace' on a project, giving me an interesting perspective on the "non-technical" side of aviation industry! Altogether, I want to use my skills and knowledge to make a useful contribution to our environment and the global community, may it be in one way or another ! Therefore, I'm looking forward to writing my master's thesis this summer where I can hopefully take the next step in my career and work on a challenging subject for an innovative company!
