More than 20 years of business experience as Corporate Security Manager and Chief Security Officer. Expert in Risk Management and Business Continuity Management as well as tackling numerous crisis scenarios as Task Force Leader (f.i. actual pandemic event). In addition Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Trade Secrets Officer and Data Protection Officer (DPO) using an effective and highly efficient method to combine all activities within one holistic approach. ISO 27001 & ISO 22301 Lead Auditor (self developped highly effective audit programs) as well as TISAX experience with passing respective audits worldwide! Furthermore, sponsor / co-ordinator of the groupwide Cyber Security platform considering relevant current and arising standard requests (f.i. UNECE WP29...) with the purpose to prepare our organisation accordingly for future challenges.
Responsible for all security related topics within thyssenkrupp Steering group, following an holistic approach based on a specific Security Strategy as well as Security Governance focusing on all aspects regarding running a successful Business Protection. Running a Corporate Security Management successfully in a highly dynamic and vulnerable environment whilst establishing a Information & Cyber Security Management as well as Crisis Management across the company.
The area of responsibility includes worldwide (17 legal entities, approx. 8.000 employees) the major following subjects: - Risk Management (ONR 49000, ISO 31000) - Crisis Management - Business Continuity Management - Compliance Management - Insurance Management - Information Security / ISO (ISO 27001/TISAX) - Cyber Security Management - Trade Secrets - Data Protection / DPO - International Security - Travel Security - Internal Control System - Plant Security - Physical, technical & organizational Security The department as well as all interfaces to all internal and external stakeholders have completely been created/built up from zero to a highly effective Corporate Security Management in a very dynamic and extremely challenging segment! Several approaches and tools are self-created, highly effective and unique!
