About

I help mission-driven organizations tell their story in ways big and small so they can raise more money, drive engagement, and create more impact in their communities. Throughout my career I have experienced nonprofits from nearly every position including recipient, participant, director, donor, and board member. In 2023 I led a team responsible for raising just over $12 million to increase capacity for substance use disorder inpatient treatment and outpatient mental health. I am forever a learner, and I find it incredibly rewarding to be faced with an abstract, complicated, chaotic problem and turn it into a streamlined opportunity or ongoing program. My greatest strengths are in major gift fundraising, public speaking, event planning, and leading communication strategies. I am also skilled in project management, outreach program development, fundraising strategy, donor development, fundraising case development, strategic planning, copywriting, social media marketing, I attribute the opportunities I have had in my career to several great mentors and directors who modeled true leadership and vison. As a professional dancer I learned to balance grit, excellence, and creative problem solving. Teaching made public speaking natural in front of any size group, and I've never been known to back down from a stage! Working in nonprofits has taught me the technique and skills necessary to develop comprehensive fundraising and communication plans focused on raising money, awareness, and engagement to support a mission. When I'm not at work I'm usually found in the yoga studio, volunteering and serving in the community, and enjoying life (and our garden) with my husband.
