After many years of working in the Interior Design field for different companies, taking a break to be a Stay at Home Mom, then working most recently as a Professional Organizer part-time for the past 6 years, I decided to start my own Interior Design Firm. I really enjoy assisting clients with their Home Designs. I work with Sherwin Williams Paints and Graber Window Treatments to help choose the right paint and window treatments. Space planning and furniture selection is also an important part of my job.
Developed organization and scheduling skills as a mother of twins, which are vital skills for the daily functioning of the household. Created living, play area, and bedroom designs for more manageable and efficient use of space. Volunteered for the Montgomery County Parents of Multiples and worked my way up to Team Captain running the Feeding, Bathing, Diapering, and Car Seat section during the annual Fall and Spring Sales. This involves creating, designing, and setting up the section based on the available space/room after team collaboration. Member of Germantown Elementary School Parent Teachers Association (PTA) leading both the Fall Harvest Dance and International Night, which involved planning, organizing, and coordinating these events, including floor layout and space design. Served as the PTA Cultural Arts Chair and Box Top Coordinator as well as many and various other volunteer tasks and activities. Directed and collaborated with both parents and teachers to manage and successfully accomplish multiple tasks and events.
Provided advice and guidance to clients for the best use and optimization of existing space for storage, room layout, and design, including adding shelving materials and adding more vertical storage space. Consulted with clients and helped them purge clutter and organize remaining items and treasures in bathrooms, kitchens, closets, garages, and basements.
