Senior Project Engineer for decommissioning of the Viking Bravo platforms (topsides, bridges and jackets) located in the Southern North Sea, owned and operated by Conoco Phillips UK since 1972. Senior Project Engineer for installation of the Madura FPSO. The Madura BD sour gas field is developed by Husky Oil and CNOOC, and located offshore East Java, Indonesia. The FPSO is provided by Bumi Armada and the Boskalis lump sum scope consisted of installation of moorings, FPSO tow to site, FPSO hook up to moorings, installation of flexible risers and one umbilical
Highlights: - Shell FLNG: Project lead to qualify the APL turret design for the Abadi FLNG project. - Shell Penguins project: Concept study to assess redeployment of a Norwegian sector FPSO to the Penguins field as part of the Penguins Redevelopment project (UK sector). - Update of the global Shell standard for MO(D)U moorings and preparation of a Standard Operating Procedure for global use.
Highlights: Interface Manager for the BP-Q204 project reporting to the Engineering Manager, based in Singapore at KBR for 15 months, then in Korea at Hyundai for 15 months. The Q204 project is a 6 bUSD redevelopment of the Schiehallion and Loyal fields located West of Shetland in 400m waterdepth. The redevelopment consists of replacement of the FPSO and a significant upgrade of the subsea facilities (e.g. new risers, new production flowlines, new subsea control system, additional subsea structures and additional wells). The FPSO is provided by Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea with KBR as the nominated subcontractor. The Turret Mooring System is provided by SBM through a direct contract with BP. R&R: Manage, control and be accountable for interface management across the whole of the Quad 204 project. Identify interfaces important to project success and ensure they are managed correctly so that there are no unidentified interfaces and no unattended interfaces.
