On top of the Europe Seat-Belts PC & L Director, I’m taking over the responsibility of the Europe Seat-Belt Operation Purchasing.
Job Summary: PC & L Director is in charge of the follow-up and the execution of the Autoliv Group PC & L Strategy, responsible to bring the necessary support and attention to the logistics operations performance to ensure the achievement of the profitable targets defined by the Region. The entire scope is about PC&L management within the Region (entire supply chain from suppliers to customers) performed through the coordination, the training, the coaching of the different Logistics Managers in charge of each Europe Seat-Belt plant. This position includes also project teams facilitation, coordination of process improvement activities across the Europe Seat-Belts Division, communication / presentation of updates and summaries to Senior Leadership, coaching of the logistics community and solve operational issues. This position requires an extensive communication skill set to proactively identify key contacts and executive team needs, assist in setting priorities through the business plan/case creation and impact verification, develop long-range project timelines and key milestones, and lead the execution of those developed plans. Business Scope: Seat-Belts Europe (ESB): 14 Plants within Europe (9 A-Compagnies, 4 C-Companies & 1 Platform) / 150-160 Mparts delivered per year / 1,2 B$ TO / 12 000 + employees Seat-Belts Europe PC & L Team: 620+ employees / 13 Logistic Managers / 400 Shipments/Deliveries per day / 6 000 Pallets delivered/Shipped per day (Suppliers / Customers) / 1 200 Customer unloading points contacts/flows. Key challenges: Achieve ESB Logistic KPI’s (Freight in/out, Packaging out, NCE’s Reduction, Inventory Level & DOH, Inventory Adjustment, Green Score Cards, No Backlog, AS Compliancy AS244/246/242 & 247, NCM Reduction, No PF, Slow Movers and Obsolete Reduction, POH Optimization…) Develop People to Manage Execution of the ESB Logistic Policy Deployment & Operational Improvement plan (Bottom line improvement) while ensuring accountability
Assume the complete responsibility of the production site (50 Employee) by: • Coordinating the production process: follow-up of the budgets, respect of volumes and times, improvement of the productivity, optimization of stocks and provisioning. • Deploying the quality policy: application of the standards of certification and traceability of the company, optimization of the quality chain, • Defining and animating the annual capital spending program: supervise implementation of the various technical action plans (Quality, productivity, new products) and reporting to the teams. • Ensuring the representation of the company and its brand image in front of customers. • Developing the commercial relation and the turnover. (+ 8% between 2004 and 2006 => + 0.7 M€),
In quotation, development or in serial life phase with the role: • To be responsible for the follow-up of the whole project with respect to the customer, • To be the Autoliv direct contact of the customer for the project, • To coordinate all the Autoliv communication towards the customer, • To be responsible of QCDP synthesis of the project, to bring up to date the list of the critical points and to make sure that the necessary actions are engaged and carried out.
