I am a Senior Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger Engineer with 21+ years of experience in designing, specifying, purchasing and following-up static equipment. I have worked as a Specialist, as a Project Coordinator and as a Project Engineer with major Customers like Saudi Aramco, BP, Petrobras, Petronas, CNRL, Ecopetrol, YARA, CFI, Casale, BASF, UHDE. I enjoy working in a global and multicultural environment, having spent one year and a half in Brazil at Technip Brazil Centre, three months in Beijing to cooperate with a local Contractor and 5 months in Moscow as a PMC for Gazpromneft. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I believe my favorite stage of a Project is working with the Client to understand their objectives and how to ensure their satisfaction. As a Senior Pressure Vessel & Heat Exchanger Engineer my main activity is coordinating and cooperating with a group of Engineers to perform the basic design for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, prepare Material Requisitions and Specifications as well as perform technical bid evaluations. Other duties include follow-up of engineering activities and Vendor shop visits. Main experiences include Hydrocrackers, Hydrotreaters, Delayed Coker Units, PTA Plants, Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units, Sulphur Recovery Units, Vacuum Distillation Units, Crude Distillation Units, Alkylation Units, FPSO, LNG. I am an expert user of Compress, PVElite and FePipe as well as Autocad and an independent user of Autopipe Vessel. I have a solid knowledge of ASME BPV Code, API and TEMA Standards and a strong ability to perform mechanical design both with standard Code methods and with tailored calculations. I am experienced at working in a global and multicultural environment having spent one year and a half in Brazil at Technip Brazil Centre and three months in Beijing cooperating with a local Contractor.
