Managed a CHF 15m project portfolio including IT and business change projects from inception to completion and post-implementation benefit reviews: - drove a 4-year transformation project affecting 80% of the business operations of a global business unit (CHF 250m in Sales volume) in the area of multi-national reinsurance programs for life business. - managed all resulting IT initiatives in line with the business vision and customer needs, resulting in the creation of several new applications including new operations solutions, data analytics tools, APIs und a web portal for partners and customers, - standardised and enhanced the service provision based on lean techniques while increasing operational efficiency to support business growth (est. 10-30%), - implemented data management & BI analytics capabilities for enhanced customer insights, performance measurement and finally additional customer services, - drove the change across all affected functions, partners and customers and transformed the collaboration model across functions to a data-driven integrated model. Built the IT operations for the new IT landscape including the IT service governance in line with internal IT and data security policies and international standards (SOC and ISO 27001 equivalent). - Defined and implemented new agile operations for managing the business change and the related release management reducing the overall IT costs by >30%. - Led the evaluation of collaboration models and finally offshoring partners; set up the complete service model with related agreements and contracts. - Managed an agile project and IT organization with direct reports (PMO, scrum masters, business analysts) and offshore development suppliers.
