Award-winning Film Director, Screenwriter, and Producer, and member of the Brazilian Academy of Cinema, Renata Jones is the founder of Jones Pictures, an independent production company based in Rio de Janeiro dedicated to developing original stories with a strong visual and narrative identity. She won Best Director (International Short) at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival for 'We, Brothers', which premiered in theaters in Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles in 2025. She is currently in post-production on 'The Outsider'. Sam, a weary reporter for a tabloid newspaper, is assigned to interview a woman in a pub who claims she comes from another planet. But what initially appears to be sheer nonsense gradually begins to unravel and Sam quickly realizes the situation she's in.
Two old fellow mobsters meet up at hideout to discuss their next job. They plunge into a conversation recollecting their past deeds together, which leads them into argument and rivalry, until one of them realizes something is quite wrong.
