As the Global Head of Soybean Meal at Cofco International, I lead a global trading desk with comprehensive oversight of Soymeal physical flow (running a book of +4MM tons/year) and futures exposure for the soy complex. With over 10 years of experience in the agricultural commodities business — and a strong foundation in IT — I bring a data-driven, analytical approach to global commodity trading and risk management. My career journey has provided me with deep, end-to-end visibility across the supply chain. I began in Brazil, focusing on soybean origination, which grounded my understanding of the market at the source. This was followed by four years coordinating a crushing plant, where I gained hands-on expertise in optimizing crush margins and managing the production dynamics of both soybean oil and soybean meal. A chapter of my career was spent as a Contract Execution Manager, an experience that gave me a thorough command of international trade rules and dispute resolution. I developed strong expertise in FOSFA and GAFTA regulations, international contract execution, arbitration procedures, and the interpretation and structuring of complex trade contracts. This background gives me an understanding of the full trade lifecycle — from deal origination through to final execution and settlement — with a precise understanding of the legal and commercial frameworks that govern global agricultural commodity flows. Today, my core expertise lies in navigating the soybean, soybean meal, and soybean oil markets. I specialize in bridging physical commodity flows with strategic futures trading, ensuring robust risk management and margin optimization on a global scale. Crush manager and Soybean meal & Oil cash trader responsible for: - Defining strategies for FOB SB Meal & Oil positions; - Contact clients and brokers to update information about the market and to do business. - Lock in Crush Margin on behalf ECTP’s crushing plant; - Handling the soybean purchases for ECTP’s crushing plant; - Management Soybean Meal/Oil Long-Short position and Trading P&L; - Negotiation of Soybean Meal and Oil FOB + Domestic market (spot sales/purchases and frames contracts); - Trading Meal & Oil basis in Fob Market (Cargoes, top-offs and Paranaguá paper market) ; - Analyzing Soybean complex market and crush margins; - Coordinating the logistic program of Soybean Meal & Oil along with Logistics team; - Reports of Meal & Oil Market.
Soybean FOB cash trader Brazil origin responsible for: -Trading SB basis in Brazilian Fob Market (Paranaguá paper market) ; -Pricing the soybean in the interior and coordinate the purchase program pace along with origination traders; -Report the difficulties found to meet the programm goals in each region; -Manage the risk exposure on FX & CBOT futures; -Make sure the SB/CN P&L reported by finance are correct and contemplate all the deals done by the desk.
Commodities Execution Coordinator, being responsible for the execution of CFR contracts on behalf of Grains&Oilseeds’s Global book (Soybean and Corn contracts) Also accountable for: - Utilize better the shipment position against the Sales and Freight’s contracts ; - Look for opportunities to trade BL date Swaps in the market; - Handle all the interface with Freight side of the business; - Managing the Dispute resolutions and FOSFA/GAFTA arbitration along with internal/external lawyers.
Analyst in Operations area on BTG Pactual, performing Backoffice and Custody routines for the fixed income securities • Processing, controlling, confirming and settling the firms and client's transactions; • Documenting process flows and creating procedure manuals for the functions performed; • Custody role for BTG Pactual along with BM&FBovespa and Cetip; • Driving control agendas and ensuring a robust control environment to support business growth; • Performing reconciliations process – with regard to trades from the prior day: check accuracy of trades and resolve any discrepancies; • Macros development to improve Backoffice processes reducing the daily routines time significantly; • Supporting Trader in the trading of fixed income securities providing further information about the products.

Elaborar/Definir Casos de Teste em diferentes camadas de aplicação (Interface, funcionalidades internas da aplicação e camadas inferiores de software). Automatizar Casos de Teste visando a otimização da execução dos mesmos.
