At Chili Piper, software development is more than just code; it’s about leading teams to create products that resonate with users and drive business success. Spearheading the rewrite of pivotal applications like Instant Booker and Concierge for DCP, my role as Engineering Manager is a testament to my commitment to both product innovation and team growth. Harnessing ReactJS, TypeScript, and a suite of modern dev tools, I've contributed to increasing our ARR and mitigating churn risks. The essence of effective leadership lies in fostering talent and streamlining processes, which I've embraced through regular 1:1 sessions, OKR management, and optimizing our release process with automated solutions. My hands-on approach in the feedback loop and hiring process reflects my dedication to building a robust engineering culture, where continuous improvement is the collective ambition. Collaborating closely with my team, we've not only delivered high-quality software but also cultivated an environment where technical excellence thrives.
As a lover of the engineer/manager pendulum career and given that Chili PIper is having too many projects that requires someone pragmatic for some specific fixes and improvements + someone to work on specific technical debts, I agreed to be part of this challenge and give love to our FE environment by removing duplications, creating scripts for automatic things, working on some standartization.
Generally speaking, I code and I manage people and teams. I was part of the rewrite of 2 apps so far here: Instant Booker and Concierge for DCP. - Current stack I'm coding is with ReactJS, Context API, React-Query, TypeScript, i18n, Docker, nginx, GCP, Storybook, NextJS, Cypress Styled Components, Vite. I've also maintained part of the FE infrastructure. - Responsible for the Instant Booker rewrite - we managed to increase ARR and remove some churn risk with the new software - 1:1 sessions + Development and Performance Conversations - OKR Management - Management of Release Process - Create Slackbot and maintain pipelines and JIRA automations - Giving and Receiving Feedbacks - Feedbacks on Hiring Process - Management of Goals and Expectations
Stack: - Monorepo with yarn workspaces + lerna (and then we removed lerna to use yarn 3) - Bitbucket and then we moved to Github - JIRA - ReactJS - TypeScript - React-Query - Storybook - Styled Components - MSW - Jest - Cypress - Percy (and then we migrated to Chromatic) - JavaScript - Hubot - Nginx - Docker - Google Cloud Platform

Started leading a team of 4 members to maintain the GreenMile Driver 7 software development. Participated on job interviews, did constant feedbacks with team, managed projects, trained users to use the software, had tons of meetings with clients in order to solve problems or specify improvements. Formed two new teams to create GM Manager and GM myOrder.
All started creating Cordova plugins for Android and creating one of our applications. Created a new version of GreenMile Driver using ReactJS + Cordova with 86% of tests coverage. Use of Storybook, Redux, Redux-Saga, ESLint, Enzyme
