Ghent, Flemish Region, Belgium
I recently graduated as a plant biologist. During my Ph.D., I specialized in the study of protein endosome trafficking in plants, with a strong emphasis on its interplay with the plant's secondary messenger, calcium signaling. I'm profoundly passionate about harnessing my expertise in plant biotechnology to make meaningful contributions to society, especially in the fields of plant science and sustainable agricultural production systems like soil nutrition. My long-term professional goal is to increase crop production and cope with food shortages in hunger-prone regions.
The primary focus of this work is to assist farmers in overcoming poverty by collecting and analyzing statistics related to farmland cultivation, fisheries, and aquaculture.
