Head of Economics and Business at an outstanding state school in Berkshire, which offers a range of courses from GCSE to A-level. In addition to this I am an examiner for AQA. I am a qualified yoga teacher and the Director and Founder of Rema Yoga Limited, as a fully trained and insured yoga teacher, who can offer specialist yoga classes for women in perimenopause and menopause. Prior to this I have worked at an Independent School in Berkshire after I had completed my PGCE (FE) whilst teaching Economics full time at Farnborough Sixth Form College. My previous career in the private sector was in the healthcare and life sciences industry experience, working in a range of sectors from Pharmaceuticals, Provision and Funding. I worked primarily on Corporate and Portfolio Strategy but I have experience in redesigning product development processes and improving research and market insights capabilities. Deliver whole school programme of events with a team of 6 Housemasters and their prefect teams. Support senior management overhaul existing house system to be more inclusive and provide pastoral support.
Research into new and existing out of hospital market areas to create value propositions for a wide range of customer groups (NHS, Private Medical Insurers, Pharmaceuticals and Self-Pay), working closely with wider Marketing as well as Sales, Business Development, Business Transformation , Finance and Operations to support effective launch and set up of new propositions and service areas.
Support Board Executives and Divisional MDs in their strategy decisions accross Bupa internationally. Activities focus on financial analysis of existing portfolio as well as strategic reviews of existing and future markets.
