Rehan is a graduate from Coventry University (UK) holding a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Masters Degree in Aviation Management (with distinction in all subjects for both degrees) and Masters Degree in International Relations and Global Politics from UMEF University in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a senior figure in the aviation industry, with a total of more than 25 000 flying hours of which more than 15 000 hours are as an instructor and evaluator (Type Rated Examiner) on high performance aircraft, such as the Boeing 777. He holds numerous flying and management distinctions amongst which are the following: Director of Flight Safety and Member of the Flying Control Committee of the Dubai International Airshow for previous 20 years prior to 2023. Airline Management: Restructured the National Cadet Pilot training program at Emirates Airline. A graduate of the American Flight Safety Course; Qualified as flight safety manager of safety systems and procedures, as well as being qualified as an international flight safety accident investigation officer and accident prevention manager. Graduated in: Effective management and leadership techniques by J Thomas Miller III, Duncan, South Carolina, USA. Graduated in: Organizational time management and philosophy of business management, from The Schneeberger Foundation. Graduated as a fighter and engineering test pilot in the South African Air Force (SAAF), where he flew the Mirage F1, Cheetah, Impala MK1&2 and Harvard aircraft. He completed various management courses at the SAAF Officers academy. He was also awarded the prestigious ‘Top Gun’ award as the SAAF’s best fighter pilot and completed more than 50 actual operational sorties as a fighter pilot. Rehan also ejected out of a jet fighter at 10 meters above ground and is still here to relate this remarkable event. He amassed more that 600 Low Level Flight Displays in various high performance aircraft and has achieved Springbok Colors for Aerobatics and he has also displayed the Sukhoi SU 29 at the Dubai Airshow of 1999, for the Shell Aviation Fuel Company: He developed SMART Slot, which is a Next Generation Time Base Separation Air Traffic Management (ATM) Solution, with proven success to reduce CO2 footprint, airline operational costs and workload for Air Traffic Controllers. He can improve management systems via his state of the art management system: Specific Delivery Point, which guarantees management and objective delivery within companies.
