Engage, develop, and maintain partnerships with eight public school districts comprised of 56 schools, 30 private and religious schools, and 6 colleges in Rockland County to actively participate in the New York State COVID-19 Contact Tracer Initiative to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19. With the School Specialist team, all school districts and most private and religious schools participated in 100% contact tracing. • Liaise and partner with Rockland County Health Department(including surrounding county health departments) and school district administrators, school nurses, and community organizations consistently to ensure regular testing and protocols are adhered to eliminate outbreaks , resulting in a significant decrease in school and community spread of COVID-19. • Educate and communicate with schools regarding any new resources and ensure adherence to any CDC and DOH process changes • Responsible for monitoring, registering, and updating school contact line lists prior to submission to the contact tracers, identifying any school trends, multiple exposures, and clusters. • Utilize NYSIIS ( New York State Immunization Information System) to verify COVID-19 vaccination and the Commcare system to access case and contact information during Contact Tracing Initiative. • Interact and supervise contact tracers and problem solved student contact related issues with school administrators, resulting in an increase in student and family participation in the contact tracing program • Developed a mental health resource guide (i.e. local mental health providers, Covid-19 support groups, and age appropriate online, mental health resources) for Rockland County schools, teachers, and students and their families for the summer and school reopening for the Fall 2021-2022.

Demonstrated effectiveness in identifying program needs via customized assessment and evaluation measures, and relationship management, resulting in improved client and operational outcomes. Effectively restructured programs, according to New York State regulations: re-trained staff, enhanced program productivity and efficiency via educational workshops, team building, mentoring, coaching, counseling, professional development, and evaluations producing positive client outcomes and satisfaction.
