The past few years I have been in a management role warehousing and food distribution. My most recent position was Transportation Manager. Responsibilities include, routing, shipping and receiving, train the trainer, hiring, payroll, etc.
Manage and oversee 73 employees. Responsible to check all food products before they are loaded into the delivery vehicles. Responsible for delivering food to all schools in Philadelphia. Constant communication with our customers to ensure highest quality of services. Use a single style packing/shipping ticket form to assist the process of checking all delivery vehicles before they leave. All packed products must be placed in the correct pre-designated location within the refrigerator and or freezer to ensure the proper shipment of product. All items must be labeled with contents and delivery destination. Maintain all inventories in X3 using FIFO rules, maintain lot integrate. Do weekly inventories on products and maintain records in X3. Once each month each item must be counted in X3. Must conduct in service training on GMPs and document all results to General manager. Hiring and conducting Bi-weekly safety trainings. Oversees all day and night operations, to picking of orders for kitchen and assembly rooms. Also oversee fulfillment operations, by having my supervisors report to me. Payroll on a daily bases in ADP, and is responsible for any budget overruns, which must be reported to the operations manager.
Responsible for feeding School District of Philadelphia K-12 providing them with breakfast and lunch meals as well as shipping product to other warehouses throughout the company in multiple states. Manage 40 employees. Direct all warehousing and distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, inventory control, warehouse/truck maintenance and administrative activities to ensure plant and customer requirements are met. Oversee job assignments and labor schedules. Monitor the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
Local food distribution. Overseen daily operations throughout the entire warehouse. Managed 15 full time employees and over 80 temporary employees from On-Sight temp agency. Provided families in need with USDA food boxes which contained a variety of fruits, vegetables, and dairy. products. Responsible for packing over 915k of those boxes during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Food delivery trucks would come in daily. Responsible for checking the quality of incoming deliveries and assuring the food was stored and transported at the appropriate temperature. Receiving those deliveries into Food Connex for inventory purposes. Conducted weekly inventory checks. Overseen wholesale orders, assuring my employees packed the correct items that was requested from our customers. Assuring those orders are loaded onto the correct trucks awaiting to be delivered to our customers.
Daily store operations, opening and closing the store, key holder, ensuring money in the registers and safe were counted correctly from the previous day before the start of day, Inventory control, Human resources, hiring, payroll, Scheduling employees, driving sells and metrics, stocking and organizing products according to planograms and/or SOP, shipping and receiving merchandise to customers and/or other stores.
Small arm repairer: Supervised 6 soldiers during daily operations. Responsible for the security of over 1million dollars of top secret equipment. Equipment was secured each day in a vault. Maintained the upkeep of military weapons. Responsible for fixing over 50k weapons that were disabled. Performing daily cycle count on inventory. Prepared Excel spreadsheets to present to higher command. Intelligence Analyst: Prepare intelligence reports and maintain and establish intelligence records and files. Determine how reliable and significant any incoming intelligence information might be. Put new data in context with existing intelligence so that commanders have the most up-to-date information possible. Prepare battlefield reports and analyze and evaluate any changes in enemy positions or capabilities.
