The past few years I have been in a management role warehousing and food distribution. My most recent position was Transportation Manager. Responsibilities include, routing, shipping and receiving, train the trainer, hiring, payroll, etc.

    Manage and oversee 73 employees. Responsible to check all food products before they are loaded into the delivery vehicles. Responsible for delivering food to all schools in Philadelphia. Constant communication with our customers to ensure highest quality of services. Use a single style packing/shipping ticket form to assist the process of checking all delivery vehicles before they leave. All packed products must be placed in the correct pre-designated location within the refrigerator and or freezer to ensure the proper shipment of product. All items must be labeled with contents and delivery destination. Maintain all inventories in X3 using FIFO rules, maintain lot integrate. Do weekly inventories on products and maintain records in X3. Once each month each item must be counted in X3. Must conduct in service training on GMPs and document all results to General manager. Hiring and conducting Bi-weekly safety trainings. Oversees all day and night operations, to picking of orders for kitchen and assembly rooms. Also oversee fulfillment operations, by having my supervisors report to me. Payroll on a daily bases in ADP, and is responsible for any budget overruns, which must be reported to the operations manager.

Responsible for packing over 915k of those boxes during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Food delivery trucks would come in daily. Responsible for checking the quality of incoming deliveries and assuring the food was stored and transported at the appropriate temperature. Receiving those deliveries into Food Connex for inventory purposes. Conducted weekly inventory checks. Overseen wholesale orders, assuring my employees packed the correct items that was requested from our customers. Assuring those orders are loaded onto the correct trucks awaiting to be delivered to our customers.
