My day involves technical deliberations with partners:banks, mobile network providers as well as agents' technical teams. Analysing APIS, writing java code, scoping technical tasks,reviewing code,and testing.
Working on Africa’s largest mobile payment platform,with the progressive team at MFS Africa. Making boarders matter less. I assist my team to add more partners to our hub. So you can send money from anywhere to anywhere using your mobile money wallet, agent near you, or your bank. The only currency is access. My day involves planning out technical work for my team, supporting other devs to remove any blockers, analyzing partners' API docs,aligning with our internal and external technical stakeholders, developing using java to integrate new partners, technical documentation, writing unit tests, Peer Reviewing code,as well as testing for integrity, speed assurance purposes.
Passion Project 💚 The task was to create the concept,workshop curriculum, as well as the methodology for the Goethe Institute project #EveryGamerCounts: Diversity in Gaming and E-Sports. The output included designing 101 Introduction to game development course using unity 3d,Game Jam methodology (Hackathons for games) to follow to produce a prototype for participants. The output also included panel discussion template format with panelists suggestions to spark the conversations & awareness around diversity in games
