Hi there, and welcome to my profile! Working at Goodyear for the past 18yrs, we could say that I've turned into a Aviation enthusiast. The challenging industry, full of technology, always moving, B2B but still a "niche" market compared to many others. Proud with my recent appointment as General Manager Aviation EMEA, looking forward to enrich my network with our customers and enrich our teams in EMEA. Before I worked as Manager Supply Chain Operation Aviation EMEA. Where I focused on supply, but was also involved in our business strategy, long term strategic planning, customer strategies and the global aviation business. It enabled me to have a total view of the business. When not at work, I like spending time behind the BBQ with family and friends, and/or because of this I also enjoy a heavy CrossFit workout at my favorite gym. Spending time with my girl and two daughters is of course something that mixes through all the other activities, you can spend your time only once, make sure it's worth it!
As Manager Supply Chain Operations Aviation EMEA for the past years I'm mostly proud of the following achievements: - Reorganized the team, adding structure, proper job descriptions and ratings in place - Fully integrating the team in the regional Goodyear S&OP processes. Creating a strong demand and supply sign off, clear visibility in R&O's providing proper feedback for the financial planning. - 6 month BetterUp coaching gave me valuable insights on interacting/coaching the team. But also on personal development. - Winning many new businesses during the downturn in our industry, and keeping the high service level that we have. - Promoting the Supply Chain as a service concept in our sales strategy To give a bit more insights in the job, the main objectives are: - Lead all EMEA Aviation Supply Chain activities from S&OP to T&W. - Balance Cost - Cash and Service. - Lead local Supply Chain team (10 FTE). - Define, implement and sustain/refine Supply Chain Processes based on Lean approach and in alignment with EMEA SC standards and best practices. - Drive value for the business in the intersection between Manufacturing and Sales. - Support business development in line with global and EMEA growth strategies around targeted segments. - Lead Supply vs Demand process for EMEA on global level.
- Responsible for implementation of the S&OP class A level process within the Goodyear Aviation EMEA region. - Monthly S&OP meeting structure containing: Demand planning, Supply planning, Executive S&OP meetings, aligning the plans through partnership meetings and include “one set of numbers” in the financial meeting is setup successfully. Leading to efficient communication, centralized focus of the different teams and continues improvement in the S&OP journey. - Change management involving all departments involved in the S&OP structure. - Analyze demand and supply plans, setup KPI’s relevant for the Class A process and create tools for better communication and analysis. - Develop the S&OP key element policies.
Master’s Thesis, Acerta, Belgium, 2005-2006 • Market research in the Belgium insurance market. • It gave Acerta a clear view of what criteria self employed used to make a choice for an insurance company. Based on these criteria a segmentation strategy was created and a new positioning strategy was born. To implement this positioning strategy Acerta was advised to start a Word of Mouth marketing campaign. Until today Acerta is still one of the largest Belgium insurance companies.
