Greater Chicago Area
After spending a decade in hospitality spread between Disney, Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels Group and BridgeStreet Accommodations, I shifted to a decade in healthcare and several years in the agency world, then moved to the nonprofit sector in 2018. Having been a real estate investor on the side for years, I shifted my focus to corporate housing in 2022, revisiting the space in which I first worked in 1997 during grad school and when we were busy with Y2K consultants. Having been displaced from my home for months after water damage in 2021, I have a first-hand understanding of the needs of households that are in transition and have experienced disaster. I have led marketing and social media strategy for numerous clients including household name organizations, presented at numerous industry conferences and worked with organizations to promote public-private partnership. My volunteer highlights include serving on the Board of Viator House of Hospitality, Ambassadors Council for YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, Boys and Girls Clubs, United Way Youth in Action program, Chicago Lights, PTA committee chair, pro bono work for water-related causes and serving as a Climate Reality Leader, personally trained by Al Gore. I also served as a Deputy Voter Registrar sponsored by League of Women Voters.
